Part 1
I’m fortunate to have friends and family in London, especially my grandmother, uncle, and aunt who live about 10 to 15 minutes away from Heathrow. This will serve as my home base for my expedition. During this trip, I’ll return to the London area six separate times. I’ll post all the pictures from my London trips here.

Part 2
Usually when I come to England, I will always go to Indian Gymkhana which is located in Osterley. However, since I went to Switzerland/France the very next day, I had to postpone the tradition. In addition to this, my uncle will usually make a modified version of a full English breakfast, I say modified because I don’t like mushrooms and we usually forgot something until after it’s made.

While I’m Dublin, I found out two of my coworkers were working in the UK. Therefore an impromptu meetup was necessary. The question was where, the answer…..
Durham, England
After Kenya, I returned to the UK for less than 36 hours to meet up with my family before heading to Brussels and then to Amsterdam. After that, I headed to Durham to spend time with my cousin and her family.
York, England
The day after visiting Edinburgh, my cousin and her partner wanted to show me around the city of York. To reach the city centre, we walked through Museum Gardens, which was a lovely walk. From there, we proceeded to York Minster and then visited The Shambles. The Shambles resembled a scene from Harry Potter. It was a pretty cool city and a lovely day.
